Volunteers at Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care help provide critical services and support by donating their time and talent to assist us in our mission.  Our volunteers, many of whom have also been served by Rainbow Hospice, have a strong committment to the work we do and Rainbow Hospice far surpasses the Medicare requirement for volunteer hours. 

Our volunteers work in many different areas providing direct and indirect support to patients and families including:

• Patient Care and Family Support
  Working directly with patients and families to provide comfort in their homes.

• Administrative and Office Support
  Providing office support to help assist with administrative needs and patient support.

• Bereavement Support
  Working with people dealing with grief & loss to provide assistance and renewall.  Volunteering for our Good Mourning Children's Bereavement Program.

• Outreach and Development
  Assisting with community outreach projects, education, special events and fundraising activities.
