Sinda and Meagan completed their year-long fellowships after completing year-long internships through Rainbow Grief & Loss Services.
Supporting grief counselors-in-training is central to the mission of Rainbow. By providing bereavement fellowships, Rainbow increases the number of counselors committed to helping people who have experienced the death of someone important. Through the counseling fellowship, Rainbow offers education, supervision and direct client experience to master’s trained individuals earning their licensure in counseling and/or social work.
The program gained another fellow in early February 2018.
Rainbow’s LIFE Institute offers a variety of options for continuing education in social work and other disciplines. To learn more about the programs, please contact Lisa Miller at 847-653-3250.
