Magdalena Stefanek, January 20, 2017

Beginning on Monday, January 30,  2017, Tina Fabiano, D.O. will be joining Rainbow’s Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) Fellowship Program.

Dr. Fabiano is board certified in internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. She comes to our fellowship program after having served as a physician leader in the Quality of Life Clinic at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion for the past year where she provided symptom management, chronic co-morbidity management and care coordination for complicated oncology patients.

A Chicago native, Dr. Fabiano will begin her HPM Fellowship Program with a block rotation in inpatient palliative medicine at Presence Resurrection Medical Center.

“Dr. Fabiano is a compassionate and experienced clinician and will add significantly to the quality standard becoming associated with our program and its contribution to the palliative and hospice mission of Presence and Rainbow,” said Dr. Nick Parise, Program Manager of the HPM Fellowship Program at Rainbow.

Dr. Fabiano is the third physician fellow to join the HPM Fellowship Program, which is delivered through Rainbow’s LIFE (Leading Innovators for End-of-Life Care) Institute. The LIFE Institute is dedicated to influencing and inspiring healthcare professionals and the community to understand that the end of life can be a time of comfort and personal growth for those who are dying as well as those who love and care for them.
