  • Barriers to effective communication
  • Strategies for addressing escalated emotions
  • Approaches to end-of-life conversations

Presenter Bio

Vicki Scalzitti, BA, CTC, is the Children and Family Education Program manager for Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care and the coordinator of the Good Mourning Program for children, teens and families. She has worked in the Good Mourning Program for over 20 years. She is a bereaved mother and trained trauma consultant and school specialist. Vicki is a national presenter and author of The Road to Good Mourning: Growing Resilient Children through the Grief Experience.
