Making a Difference

Volunteers are present for Rainbow journeys.  As a Volunteer, you will bring simple kindness to patients, bereaved, and their families.  You will have the opportunity to lift up your community by helping to provide critical services and support to patients and families.  Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care Volunteers serve in many different areas of Rainbow that fit with their interests, schedule, and location.

Types of Volunteer Opportunities

Patient Support

Providing a listening ear, a song or caring touch, a loving heart and a reassuring presence.  You can work with patients near your home.

Providing handcrafted items for patients and bereaved while also donating a wide range of talents to the organization.

Note:  We encourage volunteers over the age of 18 to apply and to commit to one year of service.
